Semi Weekly Update…..

Hi Everybody,

I have been remiss in sending out a weekly email to the membership, so here is an update for you.

The weather is finally getting warmer and more and more of you are getting out and riding. Last weekend we had our first of the series of the Couples Rides. 7 couples rode out to Hope Slide for a picnic lunch and then back in to Abbotsford for an ice cream at Birchwood Dairy. Thanks to Chuck for the lead on the ride. Everybody had a very enjoyable day. A reminder to the men of the group – DON’T FORGET TO TELL YOUR PARTNER THAT IT IS A PICNIC RIDE – pack a lunch!

We skipped June for a couples ride as Giselle and I are travelling up north on another one of our epic rides. The next Couples Ride will be out to Anderson Lake – just north of Pemberton – on July 30th. We just might move it to the 31st so that a few other couples that aren’t able to ride on Saturday can make it. Stay tuned….

This Sunday we are hosting our annual Memorial Ride. If you haven’t signed up, please do so on the website at We have 30 members registered so far. Let’s hope the weather stays nice…

The next Chapter Breakfast meeting will be on Saturday, June 18th at the ABC Restaurant in Coquitlam. The service and food so far has been very good. We hope to see more of you come out for this monthly event.

Don’t forget the District Rally – Wings in the Cariboo. July 21st to 24th in 100 Mile House. The early registration deadline has now passed, so if you haven’t registered yet, it will cost you a bit more to do so. This event is shaping up to be well attended with members coming from as far away as Ontario. This is a weekend packed with activities, riding, fun and friendship. We encourage all to make an effort to come and enjoy it with us. Here is the signup link:

That’s all for now…..see you out there soon.
